Due to illness, the WWG meeting scheduled for TODAY, January 6, at Waconia Library is cancelled. We are looking to organize an “informal” writing session/meeting at Mocha Monkey (Olive Street, Waconia) for later in January, more info to come!
The next “first Saturday” meeting will take place on Saturday, February 3, 10:30am, at Waconia Library (Magazine Corner).

It’s once again time to take on the annual challenge of writing the equivalent of a novel’s worth of words in November. Also known as National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo for short), this is our group’s second annual observance of this month-long write-a-thon!
WWG members will be gathering every Monday evening in November to work on their writing projects, share resources/advice/camaraderie, and some of them might even immerse themselves in the challenge of writing 50,000 words in 30 days!
Bring a project! Write! Enjoy the company of your writing peers. Come when you can, stay as long as you want. You don’t have to be participating in NaNoWriMo (or writing a novel) to join in on the fun!
