Hi everyone!
We’ll be meeting this Sunday, May 21st, at 4:30 p.m., at our usual Sunday haunt: the downtown Mocha Monkey, upstairs in the back room.
Our theme for this meeting is All Things Poetry! You can:
- Write an original poem,
- Bring a poem you like, by a favorite poet, to share with the group, OR
- Write a (non-poetry) piece inspired by this prompt: “She had the soul of a poet…”

Remember, many people find writing poetry difficult, BUT there is no “right” way to write poetry! Your poetry does NOT have to rhyme, it does NOT have to be written in a fixed verse form (i.e. iambic pentameter), etc. I can’t wait to hear everybody’s work this afternoon!
