After nine years of invaluable direction and creative inspiration, founders Mary Johnson and Barb Zimmerman have made the decision to step down from their active leadership of the Waconia Writers Group.

Jen Anderson will continue to provide administrative support for the group (email communication, website, and anthology author orders), and will be stepping in to coordinate group meetings in the interim. As fall approaches, she will be seeking to recruit volunteers to assist with some of the organizational work for the group, and will rely heavily on members’ voices to help determine the future direction of WWG.
